Hi
As you said we need to finish our basics by oct 30.I want to know abt verbal section.How to prepare for verbal section? What all things we should do in this basics preparataion stage (till oct 30)for verbal?I earnestly request you to please give some tips or strategy to prepare for this section.


For verbal follow 3 simple things to start with... if its your weak section.

1. Do 2 RCs everyday - target to keep total time taken down to 10 mins per RC (approx 1 minute per question). Do this without fail. Time spent = 20 mins
2. Buy the book word power made easy buy norman lewis. It contains 44 chapters. Do 2 chapters every day and finish the book in next 22 days! Time spent = 20 mins
3. Read Times of India newspaper - front page, editorial and business page everyday - time spent = 40 mins

How much should I study for CET and JBIMS?

Working professionals:
One line answer: I need 1 hour from you every day till diwali (oct 30)
2 hours from Oct 30 to Dec 31 NYE
3 -4 hours everyday from Dec 31 to Feb 26.

Non working / Students:
One line answer: I need 2 hour from you every day till diwali (oct 30)
3 hours from Oct 30 to Dec 31 NYE
4 hours everyday from Dec 31 to Feb 26.

each statement is

not mentioned in the passage

for this first read the paragraph and then the statements and for each statement observe these..

the statement is supporting the context or opposing the context
If statement is supporting the context observe directly or indirectly.
If opposing the context observe That directly or indirectly.

Positive: Suppose Direct--Definitely True
Positive: Suppose Indirect--Probably true
Negative: Oppose Direct--Definitely false
Negative: Oppose Indirect--probably false

Instructions for CETking 2011 Expected College Calculator
1. Download the CET 2011 percentile calculator from the link above
2. On tab 1 ‘Enter your score’ – enter your name, CET score and percentile
3. Enter expected GD, PI, PAR and Work experience score
4. Select your category, home university and press submit
5. On tab ‘Your colleges’ colleges will be displayed
6. You can convert all colleges which show YES and may not be able to convert colleges which say NO
7. If it says No then either your score is less than the expected cutoffs for the college or college does not have any seat for this category
8. Please check your details on the top of the sheet, if incorrect go back to ‘Enter your score’ sheet and change your details
9. How to select home university:
- Mumbai students: Select home university for mumbai colleges and outside for pune
- Pune students: Select home university for pune colleges and outside for mumbai.
- OMS: Select OMS category from the drop down box
- Outside Mumbai, Pune and inside Maharashtra: Select outside university for mumbai or pune colleges.
10. Calculator is made for some of the Mumbai and Pune colleges only
